My Inspiration for this week's Challenge at Tammy Scrappin Corner Theme Sketch

Weekly Challenge #50

                             

Morning All Tammy Here
Monday morning blues, It has been so cold in Florida.
I would love to have the heat back. I am just freezing.
We have a wonderful treat this week.
Our own Desire designed a sketch for us to follow.
I hope you sure try it out.

Techniques used:

•  Paper Blending

Here is My Design

Coloring Instructions:

1. The base of the Giraffe is E40 and I did a couple of layers
2. The spots I did a blend with two colors E37 and E57 and just kept blending until it was the way I wanted it to be.
3. I used E53 and E33 for the ears and spots on mouth. 
4. I used Y21 Yr21 and Yr23 for a little blending on the edges
5. I didn't like the spots and shadowing so much so went back in with E13
6. I distressed the edges with Tea Dye after I fussy cut the image.

Assembly Instructions

1. 6x6 card base is Tan
2. I used the lovely Sketch designed by Desire
3. I actually bought a template from her online store it was so wonderful this can be purchased here 
4. I traced the pattern paper and cut the middle
5. I backed the card with darker tan
6. I then made slits and threaded ribbon from Bo Bunny thru the holes.
7. I added some buttons for dimensions
8. Sentiment was added it is from Cloud 9 Designed called travel
